This is a very easy and delicious dip. I always come home with an empty dish whenever I take this anywhere. Another variation is to add 1/4 cup sour cream to cream cheese mixture along with a sprinkling of dried Italian seasoning blend along with the other ingredients listed, mixing well. Can be easily doubled.

You're definitely going to want to double this pizza dip - it's so good! Pepperoni is the prevalent flavor but cream cheese adds another dimension. The ooey, gooey cheese drips off your bread or chip with every bite. Bring this when you're asked to bring an appetizer and it will be a hit.

Ingredients For pizza dip

  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese (I use 1/3 less fat kind), 8 oz.
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 - 1 c
    pizza sauce
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    mild cheddar cheese,shredded
  • 1
    small package sliced pepperoni
  • 1
    loaf French bread sliced and toasted

How To Make pizza dip

  • Cream cheese with garlic and onion powder and Italian seasoning in a baking dish.

    Soften cream cheese. Add garlic and onion powder and Italian seasoning. Spread in a dish that can go in the oven or microwave.
  • Pizza sauce spread on top of the cream cheese.

    Spread pizza sauce over cream cheese mixture covering well.
  • Cheese sprinkled over the sauce.

    Mix cheeses and sprinkle over top covering sauce.
  • Pepperoni placed on top of the cheese.

    Place pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  • Pizza Dip baking in the oven.

    Place in a 350 degree preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly OR alternately instead of the oven, microwave until cheese is bubbly and melted.
  • Pizza Dip on a piece of bread.

    Serve with French bread (or crackers of your choice). Enjoy :)
