It's always fun to visit my sister and her family in South Carolina. Not only is there a lot to see and do, but the food is just the best. One of my new favorite snacks is pimento cheese. This is my brother-in-law's recipe. It is good with crackers or vegetables. If you are following the Keto diet, you can serve it with pork rinds.

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1/2 cmayonnaise

2 cextra sharp cheddar, shredded (preferably cracker barrel)

4 ozdiced pimentos, drained

2 mdjalapeno peppers, finely diced

1/4 tspgarlic powder

1/4 tsponion powder

1/4 tspcayenne pepper

1/4 tspsmoked paprika

pink himalyan salt & black pepper to taste
How To Make pimento cheese spread

1Combine the mayonnaise, cream cheese, peppers, pimentos, and spices.

2Fold in the shredded cheese.

3Refrigerate until ready to serve.
