my quick artichoke dip

At a backyard bar-b-cue one summer afternoon I made this really good Artichoke dip. Not sure I think I got it off of a jar of Hellman's mayonaise. Anyway, It was gone in a matter of minutes. There after each time I made it I would double the recipe. It still goes real fast. You can't stop eating it. I serve it with Wheat Thins. I have tweeked the recipe adding garlic powder and somtimes hearts of palm instead of artichokes. Result: A word of advise double the recipe it wont last long. Enjoy

Ingredients For my quick artichoke dip

  • 1 jar
    8 ounces of mayonaise.
  • 1 sm
    can chopped green chilies
  • 1 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 can
    soup size can of non marinated, in water only, artichokes or chopped hearts of palm.
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground black pepper

How To Make my quick artichoke dip

    Drain chilies and artichokes first. Chop them up corsely. Add garlic powder and pepper. Then combine with the remaing above ingredients. Spread in a 13 X 9 inch pan. Sprinkle more parmesan over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until top is bubbly. Serve with your favorite dip crackers and pass the cold beer. Yum... Enjoy

    P.S. You can substitute hearts of palm instead of artichokes. Either way I always double this recipe. it's that good.
