This is a family favorite I started making during football season. We love to have friends and family come over and watch the football games after church and this is a great dip for that!

Ingredients For mexican dip

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 clove
    garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    8-oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1
    8-oz pkg. cream cheese
  • 1
    green chili pepper or 1 small jalapeno pepper (optional)

How To Make mexican dip

  • 1
    Brown ground beef, onion, garlic and salt; drain and add remaining ingredients. Heat in crockpot. Dip with chips, crackers, bread, etc.
