You must make this with fresh jalapenos. Even if you halve (or quarter!) the amount, fresh jalapenos will give you the best-tasting salsa.

Ingredients For mango black bean salsa

    fresh mangoes
  • 3/4
    red onion
  • bunch
    cilantro, fresh
  • 1
    lime, juiced
  • 5 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 tsp
    kosher or sea salt
  • 2 can
    black beans, unsalted
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1
    jalapenos, fresh

How To Make mango black bean salsa

    Start with a large mixing bowl. Add the following ingredients as you prep them:

    peel and chop the mangoes into small pieces
  • 3
    dice the jalapenos (you can make the salsa hotter by leaving in the seeds)

    dice red onion
  • 5
    chop cilantro
  • 6
    rinse well and drain black beans
  • 7
    add it all together, plus salt, pepper, oil and lime juice; gently turn over with a big spoon to mix

    Once it's all mixed together, try to chill it in the fridge and let it sit for an hour prior to serving.

    Voila! Delicious mango black bean salsa [serve it with chips, as a salad-topper, atop pork chops, or however you like!]
