Ingredients For lemony hummus

1 canchickpeas - garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained

1/3 ctahini

2 clovegarlic, grated or minced

2 Tbsplemon juice

1/2 tsplemon zest (or use more)

1/8 tspcayenne pepper

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/8 tspcumin
-
1/4 tspsea salt, or to taste

assorted veggies or pita bread, to dip
How To Make lemony hummus

1Puree chickpeas and other ingredients together until smooth. If too thick, add water, 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

2Serve with vegetable crudités. Also good with pita bread wedges or crisps.
