I had just a few ingredients at home and found a recipe I was able to adjust into this one. It is a really tasty dip, or can be served as taco salad. Be creative and have fun!

Ingredients For layered taco dip

2 lbground beef (or your choice)

1 ctomato sauce

1 csalsa
-
1 pkgtaco seasoning ( i use low sodium)

1 cancorn or black beans or your choice
-
cayenne pepper
-
2 ccheddar cheese, grated

1 canrefried beans
-
about 4four tortillas
How To Make layered taco dip

1Brown meat
-
2add tomato sauce (you can use tomato paste plus one can of water if you do not have the sauce), salsa, taco seasoning, corn or beans, or corn AND beans, whatever you like, and cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper to taste

3simmer meat mixture

4in a 2 quart casserole begin layering tortilla, refried beans, meat mixture and shredded cheese. You should be able to layer three to four times. Always top with Cheese, despite which layer you end on

5bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted and bubbling.

6serve with sour cream and tortilla chips, and any other toppings you would like, such as green onions, tomatoes, black olives, etc.
