I developed this recipe originally for a dip for steamed asparagus, but added the shrimp and it became a hit to serve with chips. If you want more or less shrimp feel free to change the amount. Leave the shrimp out completely and you have a great asparagus dip.

Ingredients For jan's shrimp dip

3/4 csour cream

1/4 cmayonnaise

3 Tbspchopped red onion

2 Tbsplemon juice

1 Tbspplus 1 teaspoon capers, drained and chopped

2 tsplemon zest

2 tspdried tarragon

1/2 tsponion powder
-
1/2 tspsugar

1/4 tsppepper

1/2 lbcooked salad shrimp
How To Make jan's shrimp dip

1Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice, capers, lemon zest, tarragon, onion powder, sugar, and pepper together with a whisk.

2Add salad shrimp.

3Mix well.

4Refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours.

5Serve with chips or crackers.
