Ingredients For hummus

1 canchickpeas (garbanzo beans)

4 Tbsplemon juice

4 Tbsptahini (sesame seed paste)

2 Tbspextra virgin olive oil

2 clovefresh garlic, minced

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspfresh ground pepper
How To Make hummus

1Place all ingredients in a food processor or a blender and process until smooth. You may need to add a little more olive oil to get a nice, smooth texture that is easy to dip. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving or if you prefer you can also serve at room tempature.

2NOTE* The tahini can be sometimes found at regular grocery stores or at a middle eastern groceries.
