My pastor's wife in NY served this at their annual open house and my husband loved it. I make it when we tailgate on the plains in Auburn. Must be served warm with a great cracker.

Ingredients For holiday appetizer pie

16 ozcream cheese, room temperature

1 jardried beef, chopped
-
4 Tbsponion, finely chopped

1 csour cream
-
4 Tbspmilk
-
4 Tbspgreen bell pepper, chopped

1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper

1/2 cpecans, coarsely chopped

additional pecans for sprinkling on top

fresh chopped parsley for garnish if desired
How To Make holiday appetizer pie

1Blend together cream cheese and milk. Mix well.

2Stir in dried beef, green pepper and onion. Mix well. Stir in sour cream and nuts.

3Spoon into a 9-inch pie plate or shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Bake at 350-degrees for 15 minutes.

4Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot with crackers.
