I love foods that are reminiscent of Thai cooking, without the excess heat. This would work on a chicken breast sandwich or as a veggie dip. Thin it a bit to use as a salad dressing or marinade.

Ingredients For green fusion sauce

1 mdavocado, pitted and peeled

1/2 ccilantro, packed

1/2 cparsley, packed

1 mdjalapeno, seeds and ribs removed, chopped

2 clovegarlic

2limes, juice of and zest of one

1/2 cwater
-
1/3 colive oil
-
1 tspsalt (or to taste)

1/2 cblanched almond slivers (or pistachios)

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make green fusion sauce

1In bowl of a food processor, add all ingredients up to nuts. Pulse.

2Add nuts, pulse until almost smooth. Taste - add additional salt and pepper if needed.

3Serve as a dip or on sandwiches. Thin with vinegar, water or oil to use as a salad dressing or marinade.
