Got this recipe from my second "Mom," a neighbor who took me under her wing, and gave me some of my first cooking lessons when I was a teen. Fond memories. I remember her saying it even makes a good, quick, nutritious breakfast because of the protein. It's often made what feels like an indulgent lunch for my kids and I (it tastes like dessert.)

Ingredients For favorite snack: p.b. graham dippers

  • graham crackers
  • peanut butter
  • apple sauce
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg

How To Make favorite snack: p.b. graham dippers

    Break graham crackers into squares. Spread with peanut butter.

    Fill a bowl with apple sauce, and mix in cinnamon, and a touch of nutmeg.

    Dip crackers into applesauce, using them as a scoop, like you would with chips and salsa. This is an amazing taste combo, quick & easy, and the flavor doesn't suffer if you use the no sugar added sauce, and the natural, non-hydrogenated peanut butter. Somehow all the favors combined make it taste sweeter than you expect. My kids love it and so do I!
