Ingredients For ellen's tangy cheese ball

1 pkgranch salad dressing mix

1/2 chellman's mayonnaise

1/2 cmilk

8 ozchive cream cheese, softened

8 ozcheddar cheese, shredded and set out at room temperature for 1 hour

1/2 to 3/4 ctoasted almonds, sliced or slivered

(cheddar cheese may be anything from mild to extra-sharp, depending on your taste.)
How To Make ellen's tangy cheese ball

1In a large bowl, mix together the salad dressing mix, mayonnaise, milk, and cream cheese with an electric mixer.

2Add the cheddar cheese and mix well. Cover and freeze mixture for 30 minutes.

3Shape the cheese into a ball and roll in the toasted almonds. Serve with assorted crackers or chips.
