Ingredients For easy caramel sauce

1 stickbutter or margarine

1 clight brown sugar ( i have used the dark also)

1/2 cheavy cream

1 Tbspvanilla
How To Make easy caramel sauce

1Cook together the stick of butter or margarine with 1 cup of brown sugar. Cook on medium to medium low unti sugar is melted.

2Stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add vanilla.

3Serve over icecream, pound cake, whatever you wish really.

4makes 1 1/2 cups. Will keep for one week in a covered container in the refrigator
