This recipe is a big money saver. At $2-3 dollars a box for just 2 bags of this mix you can see just how fast the bulk recipe can save you. I get asked for this all the time. I hope you enjoy using this!

Ingredients For dry onion soup mix

  • 3 c
    dry minced onion
  • 1 c
    granulated beef bouillon
  • 1/4 c
    onion powder, not onion salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    crushed celery seeds
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated dry garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    white or black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    corn starch

How To Make dry onion soup mix

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process till ingredients become a soft powder. Then place in a large spice jar and tape the recipe to the front of this so you can remake it again!

    To use: add 1/4 Cup in place of one package of Dry Onion Soup Mix

    I buy the jarred dry bouillon granules but if you cannot tolerate the MSG in normal bouillon you can find beef bouillon on line at amazon.com or other spice sites that is MSG free!!
