creamy chorizo dip

Give me a bowl of chips and some warm dip and a good game!!! This dip is a staple at our house for that big game!! Hot and spicy so have your beer ready to wash it down!

Ingredients For creamy chorizo dip

  • 1 lb
    chorizo (mexican sausage, mild or medium)
  • 1 pkg
    softened cream cheese, 8 oz
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced (optional)
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    buffalo sauce or chipotle tabasco (i usually use 4 oz each)

How To Make creamy chorizo dip

  • 1
    Cook chorizo in skillet until no longer pink (if you haven't worked with chorizo, be sure to remove the casing..I basically squeeze it into the pan out of the package. it will cook the same way ground meat cooks). Drain

    place chorizo, and all ingredients back into the skillet and continuously stir until cheese is all melted and everything is mixed together.

    Serve warm with tortilla chips!
