cool crab dip (easy!)

This is my recipe for a quick and easy cold crab dip. It's so simple, and simply delicious. Feel free to kick it up a notch by adding extra cajun seasoning or a bit of cayenne, if you'd like. I also like it with the addition of 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning.

Ingredients For cool crab dip (easy!)

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/3 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp
    fine pink himalayan salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    snipped fresh chives
  • 1 can
    crab meat, well-drained
  • chips and veggies for dipping

How To Make cool crab dip (easy!)

  • Ingredients for cool crab dip.

    Assemble and prep ingredients.
  • Mixing bowl with beaten cream cheese.

    In average mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Mayo and sour cream added to beaten cream cheese in bowl.

    Add mayonnaise, sour cream, salt and cajun seasoning; beat until smooth and well combined.

    Add chives and drained crab; beat until combined.
  • Cool crab dip, garnished and ready to serve.

    Refrigerate in a covered container until ready to serve. Garnish with chives, if desired. Serve with chips, crackers and/or fresh vegetables for dipping.
