Everyone LOVES this Dip! I have to make it for every get-together. My friends all wanted the recipe. This was my Moms Recipe and I make it for special Occasions

Ingredients For chipped beef dip

  • 2 pkg
    8oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 md
    chopped green pepper
  • 1 jar
    sliced dried beef (armours)
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make chipped beef dip

    Place cream cheese in a 1-quart casserole, microwave at High 1 minute. Stirring after 30 seconds. Stir until cream cheese is smooth and creamy. Stir in milk and next 5 ingredients mixing well. Spread mixture evenly in a 9 inch pie plate. Set Aside

    Place butter in a 1 cup glass measure, microwave at HIGH 30 seconds or until melted. Toss pecans with butter, sprinkle evenly over cream cheese mixture. Microwave at Medium (50% power) 7 to 8 minutes, giving dish a quarter turn after 4 minutes. Let it stand 5 minutes. Serve with Unsalted Crackers. Yields 4 cups.
