Ingredients For cajun shrimp dip

  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 sm
    onion diced
  • 1 md
    red bell pepper diced
  • 1 lb
    shrimp uncooked and chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1/2 c
    fresh shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    scallions white and green parts separated.

How To Make cajun shrimp dip

  • 1
    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Place butter in a large skillet. Add the onion, and red bell pepper in skillet and cook about 5 minutes. Add the shrimp and garlic and cook until shrimp starts to turn pink. Add the Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.

    Turn heat to low. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, half the mozzarella , Parmesan, and white parts of the scallions. Stir until all the cheese is melted together and smooth.

    Place in a baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on the top. Place in oven and bake about 15 to 20 minutes until browned and bubbly.

    Garnish with the green parts of scallion. Serve with crackers.
