We had a Haas Avacado tree in our back yard when I was kid growing up in Fullerton, CA. I used make myself sick because I'd eat so many of them when they would start falling off of the tree!

Ingredients For bunyan's guacamole

  • 4 lg
    ripe haas avacados
  • 1, 4 oz
    can diced green chilies
  • 1 md
    tomato finely diced
  • 1 sm
    onion finely diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • sea salt to taste

How To Make bunyan's guacamole

  • 1
    Cut the avacados in half lengthwise and take out the pit
  • 2
    Scoop out the luscious green goodness into a mixing bowl
  • 3
    Mash well
  • 4
    Stir in the rest of the ingredients
  • 5
    Chill for 4 hours before serving
