My family loves Velveeta Queso, but the same ole thing all the time gets boring, so I kept adding ingredients to my queso until I got it where I wanted it. My family is now in-love with this modified queso recipe. Its hot, but if u like hot and spicy then this is the queso for you.

-
1 pkgphiladelphia cream cheese
-
1 lbhot sausage
-
2 canchunky rotel tomatoes
-
1 Tbsplouisiana hot sauce
-
1 csour cream
How To Make buffalo queso
-
1Begin by browning your hot sausage and draining off the excess grease. Set this to the side.
-
2Then, over medium heat, warm your rotel tomatoes in a large saucepan. While tomatoes are heating, cube your Velveeta.
-
3Add cubed Velveeta and your browned sausage to the rotel tomatoes.
-
4Melt your cream cheese in the microwave for 1 minute to 1 1/2 minutes, just keep an eye on it because microwave temps can vary. When the cream cheese is softened, add it to the Velveeta cheese/rotel tomatoes mixture.
-
5Cook your ingredients over medium heat until everything is melted thoroughly.
-
6When everything is melted, then add the tablespoon of Louisiana Hot Sauce and 1 cup of sour cream. Stir and mix all ingredients well. Serve with tortilla chips.
