I love to experiment with recipes that mimic something else. This dip does just that. It really tastes like a BLT sandwich and when I take it to a party it's one of the first things to disappear. This recipe makes quite a bit.

Ingredients For blt dip

1 cmayonnaise, light

1 csour cream, lite

1 ccream cheese w/chives, fat free

2 pinchaccent seasoning (you could use salt), to taste

2 pincheach of black pepper & white sugar, to taste

1 ccheese, shredded (cheddar)

8 slicebacon, cooked & crumbled or (use real bacon bits in the salad dressing isle)

1 pkggrape tomatoes, quartered

2 lgromaine leaves, finely chopped

3green onions, diced (optional)
How To Make blt dip

1Combine mayo, sour cream & softened cream cheese until smooth and season with Accent or salt and black pepper.

2Gently stir in shredded cheese, diced green onion & fully cooked, drained & cooled bacon bits. I sometimes use an envelope of Real Bacon Bits from the store when I'm in a pinch.

3Using a spatula spread this mixture onto a serving platter or into the bottom of a 9x13 glass dish.

4spread diced grape tomatoes and finely chopped lettuce over entire mixture. This recipe is easlily cut in half to make a smaller batch. Serve this with crackers, bread crisps, chips, or pretzels.
