This is the first recipe I used when I first got married, 35 years ago... and we still love it!

Ingredients For beer cheese dip

  • 1
    round loaf of bread
  • 1 - 8 oz
    soft spreadable cheddar cheese (like from a crock)
  • 6 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 can
    beer
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic power

How To Make beer cheese dip

  • 1
    Cut the top off of the round loaf of bread
  • 2
    Hollow out the insides of the bread bowl and cube the pieces of bread from the insides
  • 3
    In a medium mixing bowl, blend with a mixer all other ingredients
  • 4
    Pour cheese mixture into the hollowed out bread bowl and serve with cubes of bread
  • 5
    You can use crackers or toastito chips on the side as well
