12 ozcream cheese or Neufchatel, room temperature

3/4 csour cream

1 pkgdry ranch dressing mix (1 oz)

1 tsppure maple syrup

1/4 tspliquid smoke flavoring

1/8 tspground black pepper

1/2 cshredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 creal hickory smoked bacon bits or maple bacon bits

fresh chives, parsley or sliced green onion for garnish, optional
How To Make bacon cheddar ranch dip

1Using an electric hand-mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy.

2Add sour cream. Mix thoroughly until no lumps remain.

3Add ranch dressing mix, maple syrup, liquid smoke, and pepper; mix well.

4Add cheddar cheese and bacon bits; combine well. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until served.
