I created this dip recipe for veggies, chips or crackers. It has a touch of smokiness and a hint of maple. Everyone loves it.

Ingredients For bacon cheddar ranch dip

  • 12 oz
    cream cheese or neufchatel (1 1/2 bricks), room temperature
  • 3/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1 pkg
    dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 tsp
    pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/2 c
    extra-sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    real hickory smoked bacon bits or maple bacon bits
  • fresh chives, parsley or sliced green onion for garnish (optional)

How To Make bacon cheddar ranch dip

  • 1
    Using an electric hand-mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy.

    Add sour cream; mix thoroughly, until no lumps remain.

    Add ranch dressing mix, maple syrup, liquid smoke and pepper; mix well; add cheddar cheese and bacon bits; combine well.

    May serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until served.
