I created this dip recipe for veggies, chips or crackers. It has a touch of smokiness and a hint of maple. Everyone loves it.

Ingredients For bacon cheddar ranch dip

12 ozcream cheese or neufchatel (1 1/2 bricks), room temperature

3/4 csour cream

1 pkgdry ranch dressing mix

1 tsppure maple syrup

1/4 tspliquid smoke flavoring

1/8 tspground black pepper
-
1/2 cextra-sharp cheddar cheese
-
1/4 creal hickory smoked bacon bits or maple bacon bits

fresh chives, parsley or sliced green onion for garnish (optional)
How To Make bacon cheddar ranch dip

1Using an electric hand-mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy.

2Add sour cream; mix thoroughly, until no lumps remain.

3Add ranch dressing mix, maple syrup, liquid smoke and pepper; mix well; add cheddar cheese and bacon bits; combine well.

4May serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until served.
