This dip is a favorite! My aunt Anthea makes this all the time for parties because it is so simple and she doesn't know how to cook.

Ingredients For antheas crab dip

  • 8 oz
    lump crab meat or 8 oz. louis kemp crab meat
  • 16 oz
    soft cream cheese
  • 1 sm
    jar pimentos sliced and drained
  • 3/4 tsp
    season salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • pinch
    salt (optional)

How To Make antheas crab dip

  • 1
    Beat cream cheese till smooth
  • 2
    Break crab meat into pieces and add with pimentos, season salt and pepper to cream cheese
  • 3
    Stir till well blended
  • 4
    Line a container with plastic wrap and then fill with dip mixture
  • 5
    Chill for 4 hours till dip sets. Turn over onto a plate and serve with ritz crackers or celery
