I found this long ago in a magazine and every single time I make it, it is a big hit at family reunions and parties. My 3 grown children love it and often ask that I make it at get togethers. I always go home with an empty pan!

Ingredients For 7 layer mexican chip dip

  • 1 can
    refried beans
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 2
    chopped green onions
  • 1
    jar of salsa
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • lettuce leaves thinly sliced
  • 1-4oz. can
    black olives
  • 1-8oz. pkg
    shredded mexican blend cheese

How To Make 7 layer mexican chip dip

  • 1
    Add the seasoning mix with the beans and mix well. 2. Layer bottom of a pie pan with this mixture. 3. Spoon sour cream over beans. 4. Pour just enough salsa on top of sour cream to cover. 5. Sprinkle lettuce over the salsa and add cheese on top of that. 6. Garnish top with sliced black olives. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve with tortilla chips.
