My Aunt Freda used to make this all the time. It is so much better than Hershey's syrup for ice cream.

Ingredients For hot fudge topping

  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make hot fudge topping

  • 1
    Mix cocoa and sugar in saucepan. Add evaporated milk and heat to boiling. Allow to boil a 3 minutes

    Add butter and vanilla.

    Serve over ice cream.
