this is a great chocolate syrup to serve over ice cream and pies or what ever else you may want to put on it i love it by it self but not to much

Ingredients For homemade chocolate syrup

3/4 cbrown sugar, light

3/4 csugar

1 chersheys cocoa powder

1 ccold water

1/4 tspkosher salt

1 Tbspvanilla extract
How To Make homemade chocolate syrup

1in a medium saucepan whisk together salt, sugars and cocoa until they are combined and there are no lumps.

2add the water and whisk to combine. turn heat to medium and bring to a boil, whisking frequently.

3reduce the heat to medium low whisking occasionally. allow the mixture to simmer until it has slightly reduced and. thickened

4remove from the heat and stir in vanilla. pour into a mason jar and allow to come to room temperature. cover and refrigerate.
