Ingredients For home made chocolate syrup

1/2 cup cocoa powder { use a good quality cocoa powder }

1 cup water

2 cups granulated sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make home made chocolate syrup

1Mix the cocoa powder and the water in a saucepan. Heat and stir to dissolve the cocoa, Add the sugar and salt-stir to dissolve

2Boil for 3 minutes over medium heat. Be careful - don't let it boil over! Remove from heat - and the vanilla.

3Let cool and pour into a clean glass jar, and store in the refrigerator. This makes abt 2 cups
