Ingredients For tuna steak salad with pear dressing

  • FOR THE PEAR DRESSING
  • 1/2
    barlett pear peeled cored and diced
  • 1/3 c
    olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    pear nectar
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    whole grain mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • FOR THE SALAD
  • 2 lg
    tuna steaks
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1
    head butter lettuce chopped
  • 1/2
    barlette pear peeled cored and sliced
  • 1/4 c
    cooked shelled edamame
  • 1 c
    bok choy chopped
  • 2
    hard boiled eggs sliced
  • 1
    avocado peeled and pitted and diced
  • 2 oz
    goat cheese crumbled
  • 1/4 c
    pitashio nuts shelled

How To Make tuna steak salad with pear dressing

    For the dressing Place all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth
  • 2
    For the salad On 2 plates place the lettuce, pear, edamame, bok choy, eggs, avocado, pitashios and crumbled goat cheese.

    Add olive oil to skillet. Season the Tuna steaks with salt and pepper. When the oil starts smoking sear the tuna on all side. Remove to a cutting board and cut into strips.

    Place the tuna on top of the salad and pour dressing over.
