Blue Ribbon Recipe

This tuna salad feels fancy but is made with simple ingredients. It's a tasty way to elevate a tuna salad recipe. Apples add crunch and pops of sweetness to contrast the flaked tuna and savory mayonnaise. Pecans add crunch and nuttiness. Creamy avocado adds another layer of texture and flavor and elevates the salad. A nice meal option in warmer weather when you don't want anything too heavy. We served this on a bed of lettuce with crackers but it would also be great as a sandwich on sourdough or a hearty grain bread.
