Ingredients For tuna salad

  • 2 can
    tuna, packed in water, drained
  • 1 md
    red delicious apple, peeled and diced (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/2 c
    diced celery
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 lg
    avocado, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    low-fat mayonnaise
  • lettuce leaves, for serving

How To Make tuna salad

  • 1
    In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, peeled and diced apples, diced celery, and chopped pecans.

    Fold in the mayonnaise.
  • 3
    Gently fold in the avocado. Serve over lettuce leaves or use as filling in sandwiches with lettuce. Yummy!
