Ingredients For crunchy waldorf salad with tuna

1 can9 1/4 oz. tuna, packed in water, drained and flaked

1 lgapple, cored and chopped

1/3 ccelery, chopped

1/3 cchopped walnuts

1/3 craisins, currants or pitted dates, chopped

1/2 cplain nonfat or lowfat yogurt
-
1/4 cmayonnaise
-
1/2 cshredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese (2 oz)

large lettuce leaves
How To Make crunchy waldorf salad with tuna

1In a medium bowl combine tuna, apple, celery, walnuts and raisins; set aside.

2In a small bowl combine yogurt and mayonnaise. Then add to the tuna bowl; toss gently. Add seasonings of your choice (optional) Cover and chill before serving.

3To serve: line 4 salad plates with lettuce leaves. Sprinkle cheese over lettuce. Spoon tuna mixture on top of cheese.
