Serve on top of tomato and lettuce. DDP1 Good for tuna melts, a nutty whole grain bread and Swiss cheese is what I used. DDP2

Ingredients For tuna salad

  • 2 sm
    cans of tuna packed in water, drained
  • 2
    mini yellow bell pepper, chopped finely
  • 2
    eggs, hard boiled, chopped
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 4-5 Tbsp
    mayonnaise, fat-free
  • 1 Tbsp
    sweet relish
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

How To Make tuna salad

    In a bowl mix together tuna, yellow sweet pepper, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and celery salt.
  • 2
    Whisk together, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, sweet relish, and lemon juice. Stir into the tuna mixture until combined. Taste to add pepper and salt.
