crunchy coleslaw

I love this slaw, very crunchy and GREAT with BBQ beef, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs...or whatever you like! Even great by it's self :)

Ingredients For crunchy coleslaw

  • 1 pkg
    classic coleslaw (14oz bag)
  • 1/2 lg
    red or white onion, diced (your preference)
  • 1/2 lg
    red delicious apple, diced (not peeled)
  • 1 Tbsp
    grey poupon mustard
  • 1 c
    real mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed
  • 3 Tbsp
    sweet pickle relish
  • 1/3 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • OPTIONAL ADDITION
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 1 c
    mini marshmallows

How To Make crunchy coleslaw

    In a Large mixing bowl toss all prepared ingredients together. Transfer to a medium size bowl. Slice up the remaining apple in wedges coat with the juices and place on top of your slaw. Cover and place in frig for at least one hour before serving.
