I had never heard of this until I started working at this grocery store. Once I tried it though, it was over! This salad is amazing!

Ingredients For cornbread salad

  • 2
    cornbread
  • 1
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 lb
    cubed virginia ham
  • 1/2 lb
    cubed, fresh american cheese
  • 8 oz
    kraft ranch dressing

How To Make cornbread salad

  • 1
    Crumble both loaves of cornbread onto a baking sheet and put in a 350 degree oven. Bake until it starts to toast.

    Add crumbled, toasted cornbread to a large mixing bowl. Add green pepper, tomato, onion, ham and cheese. Toss well.

    Add dressing and mix well until coated. Refrigerate 30 minutes to overnight for flavors to mix.
