I am so in love with cherry tomatoes, and grape tomatoes, and those little yellow/orange ones too! I can eat them like candy. But I'm always looking for other ways to use them. Here is a salad that is so good! Recipe & photo: tasteofhome.com 07-02-14

Ingredients For cherry tomato salad

  • 1 qt
    cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    minced fresh parsley
  • 1 to 2 tsp
    minced fresh basil
  • 1 to 2 tsp
    minced fresh oregano

How To Make cherry tomato salad

  • 1
    Place tomatoes in a shallow bowl. In a small bowl, whisk oil, vinegar, salt and sugar until blended; stir in herbs.

    Pour over tomatoes; gently toss to coat. Refrigerate, covered, overnight.
