A chef salad is one of my favorites. I usually always have the ingredients and it's always so tasty and satisfying. I split it with my kids or hubby. Delicious!

Ingredients For ~ chef salad ~ my favorite mix

1/2head lettuce ( broken apart )or 2 cups of romaine

1/4 cfrozen peas, thawed

2 - 3 sliceprovolone cheese, shredded or matchsticked

2 - 3 ozcheddar cheese from a block, sliced into matchsticks

6 slicepickled beets, sliced
-
2hard boiled eggs, i used a pickled and a plain, sliced or quartered

1/4 cmatch stick carrots
-
1/2cucumber, sliced thin

2 - 3 ozham & turkey, cubed ( i have the deli slice me a 1 pound slice of each )

redonion, sliced thin
-
cherrytomatoes
-
1/4red pepper, sliced thin

salt& pepper to taste and your favorite dressing
How To Make ~ chef salad ~ my favorite mix

1Place your prepared lettuce evenly on a platter. Arrange all of the toppings how you choose. I try to make it pretty, as you eat with your eyes...LOL Salt & pepper, add favorite dressing and dig in!
