layered salad
There are many versions of this dish out there. This one is my favorite. I love how it looks in a trifle dish. Great for summer picnics and parties. Tastes better the next day.

Ingredients For layered salad

8 ciceberg lettuce

1 mdred onion sliced into rings

10 pkgfrozen peas thawed

6 ozham chunks

2 lgtomatoes diced

1 1/2 creal mayonnaise

1/2 cgrated parmesan
-
salt and pepper to taste

2 csharp cheddar cheese shredded
-
12 ozbacon cooked and crumbled
How To Make layered salad

1Layer the lettuce,onions, peas, ham, and tomatoes in dish.

2Mix together the mayo, parmesan, salt and pepper. spread over layers.

3Top with cheese then bacon

4Let sit in fridge at least 6 hours overnight is better.
