Ingredients For layered lettuce salad

  • 6 c
    chopped lettuce
  • 1 box
    (10 oz.) thawed frozen peas
  • 1 md
    red or purple onion, chopped fine
  • ½ c
    dried cranberries
  • 3 md
    hard boiled eggs, sliced
  • 2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 5 slice
    bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ c
    sliced almonds

How To Make layered lettuce salad

  • 1
    Mix the mayo and the sugar together in a small bowl.
  • 2
    Layer everything in the order of the ingredients in a trifle bowl or in a 9x13" casserole dish.

    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
