I really enjoy the "sharp" tasting lettuces, so this is a favorite of mine. The dressing with the smoky bacon, Dijon, and maple syrup cut the peppery taste of the lettuces. Use quality ingredients for the dressing for best results.

4 slicecenter cut bacon

2 1/2 Tbspcider vinegar

4 cbelgian endive, diagonally cut

How To Make endive and watercress salad with bacon cider dress

1Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon to the pan; cook until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan, reserving 2 teaspoons drippings in the pan; coarsely chop the bacon.

2Combine the 2 teaspoons bacon drippings, oil, and next 6 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk.

3Add the remaining ingredients; toss well. Sprinkle with the chopped bacon. Enjoy!
