This was my mother-in-law's recipe. It was a must have menu item for every Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.

Ingredients For jane's cranberry salad
- CRANBERRY RELISH

12 ozcranberries, fresh or frozen, ground

2 mdoranges, ground
-
1/2peel of one orange, ground

2 csugar, scant
- CRANBERRY SALAD

1 pkg(3 oz) cherry jello

1 cboiling water
-
1 ccranberry relish (recipe above)

1 cnuts, ground or chopped finely

1 ccrushed pineapple, not drained
How To Make jane's cranberry salad

1Prepare CRANBERRY RELISH by stirring all ingredients together. Refrigerate, at least overnight before use.

2CRANBERRY SALAD: Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water, add other ingredients. Allow to set. NOTE: No other additional liquid is needed. It has only the boiling water to dissolve the Jell-O and the liquid from the canned pineapple. This sets to be a firm mixture.
