My daughter loves 5 cup salad, but she likes to add a bit more than 5 cups of ingredients...I call it her 9 1/2 cup salad...She actually made 2 salads...one her way and one the traditional way...Here is her version...enjoy!

Ingredients For daughters ambrosia salad

1 cfresh green seedless grapes / halved

1 cfresh red seedless grapes / halved

1 cdrained and patted dry, marachino cherries - halved

1 cchopped walnuts or pecans

1 cdrained mandarin oranges

1 cpineapple chunks, drained

1 1/2 csour cream - more if too dry

1 cflaked, sweetened coconut

1 cmini marshmallows

1Place all fruit, coconut, nuts in a large bowl. Stir in sour cream to coat evenly. Chill several hours before serving.
