24-hour salad

This is exactly how my aunt wrote the recipe. I have always used just normal sized cans of everything and it turns out great.

Ingredients For 24-hour salad

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 pkg
    dream whip
  • 1 can
    mandarin oranges (small can)
  • 1 c
    coconut
  • 1 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1 can
    fruit cocktail (regular sized can, not xl)
  • 1 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1 jar
    maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1 can
    pineapple tidbits

How To Make 24-hour salad

  • 1
    Cream the cream cheese with a mixer until very smooth and soft.
  • 2
    Drain all the juices from the fruit.
  • 3
    Prepare the Dream Whip as directed on the package.
  • 4
    Add everything but the Dream Whip to the cream cheese and stir.
  • 5
    Fold in the Dream Whip, cover and put in fridge for 24 hours.
