This is exactly how my aunt wrote the recipe. I have always used just normal sized cans of everything and it turns out great.

Ingredients For 24-hour salad

8 ozcream cheese
-
1 pkgdream whip
-
1 canmandarin oranges (small can)

1 ccoconut
-
1 cpecans, in pieces
-
1 canfruit cocktail (regular sized can, not xl)

1 cminiature marshmallows
-
1 jarmaraschino cherries, halved

1 canpineapple tidbits
How To Make 24-hour salad

1Cream the cream cheese with a mixer until very smooth and soft.

2Drain all the juices from the fruit.

3Prepare the Dream Whip as directed on the package.

4Add everything but the Dream Whip to the cream cheese and stir.

5Fold in the Dream Whip, cover and put in fridge for 24 hours.
