I got this recipe from a girl I knew years ago, I have tweaked it to my family's tastes. We have it all the time at almost every family function. I just received a request from my niece to have it for her baby shower this Saturday.

Ingredients For taco salad

2 bagnacho cheese tortilla chips

1 bagmixed salad

2 lb80-20 ground beef
-
2 pkgtaco seasoning mix

1 cmayonaise

1 ccatsup
-
1 cyour choice salsa(medium to hot)

4 ccheddar jack cheese(grated)

1 canblack beans, canned
-
1 cangarbanzos, with juice
How To Make taco salad

1prepare the ground beef with the taco seasoning according to the package directions. let it cool to room temperature.

2mix all the wet ingredients(including both cans of beans with liquid) in a large salad bowl.

3add the salad mix, the grated cheese and fold together. Open the tops of the chip bags and crush to bite size. Fold into salad. Add the taco seasoned beef and stir. Chill before serving, at least one hour. Even better the second day!
