I've made a lot of potato salad in my day but this one is the best and a winner every time. Can be doubled for a large crowd. If you'd rather peel potatoes after boiling that's fine.

Ingredients For all american best old fashioned potato salad

  • 3 lb
    yucon gold potatoes, peeled
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 4 lg
    hard boiled eggs, chopped
  • 11/2 c
    mayonaise
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 stalk
    celery minced
  • 6
    scallions, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mustard

How To Make all american best old fashioned potato salad

    Cut up peeled potatoes and boil 10-15 minutes or til done. Cool slightly.

    Peel and chop eggs roughly. Mix the rest of the ingredients into the chopped egg.

    Mix the cooled potatoes into the egg mayo mixture and gently mix. Cool before serving to blend flavors.
