This was a salad that my Mom used to make. She has left us now, but I will carry this salad on for her.

Ingredients For vermicelli salad

1 pkg(12 oz.) vermicelli (thin spaghetti)

2 Tbsplemon juice

3 Tbspaccent

4 Tbspwesson oil

1 canripe olives, small can sliced

4celery, ribs chopped
-
1 bunchgreen onions, some tops

1 mdsweet bell pepper, chopped

1 jarchopped pimentos, small jar

1 1/2 cmayonnaise

1/2 cmiracle whip
How To Make vermicelli salad

1Cook, rinse and drain Vermicelli (or spaghetti).

2Whip together lemon juice, accent and Wesson oil and pour over well drained vermicelli.

3Chop fine and add to the above: ripe olives, celery, onions, sweet pepper and pimentos. Mix well.

4Blend together mayonnaise and Miracle Whip and add to vermicelli mixture.

5Refrigerate overnight. Salad gets better with age.
