Thought I was making another pasta salad, no big deal, then I found my jar of Smokey Maple McCormicks spice jar, and this went for ordinary to extraordinary.

Ingredients For smokey maple ham & pasta salad

  • 16 oz
    box of pasta
  • 1 1/2 c
    ham, diced
  • 1/2 c
    sweet onion, diced
  • 1/2 c
    red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    sweet pickle relish
  • 6
    eggs, boiled and diced
  • 1 c
    cheese, shredded (cheddar)
  • 1+ c
    mayo or miracle whip (your favorite)
  • 2 tsp
    mustard
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    mccormicks smokey maple seasoning

How To Make smokey maple ham & pasta salad

    Boil pasta according to package directions.

    Dice ham, eggs, onion and red bell pepper. Grate cheese. In small bowl mix together mayo, mustard, pepper and Maple spice. I used 1 c of mayo, but added a little more after stirring. You can add more in the end if you like it creamier.

    Place eggs, ham, onion, red bell, pickle relish, and cheese in large bowl with pasta and mix together. Add mayo/mustard/spice mix and stir to coat evenly. NOTE: Taste before adding additional salt, the Maple spice is quite salty.
