Once again my husband combined a couple of recipes to come up with this wonderful salad. Whenever the volunteer fire department has an event, my husband is always asked to bring the macaroni salad. I have to admit it, this salad is better than my mom's or even my grandma's! You have to try this!

Ingredients For lori's famous macaroni salad

16 ozuncooked small salad shell macaroni

2large cucumbers - diced

1/2large onion - diced

2 cmayonnaise

1 can14 oz sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cwhite sugar

1/2 cwhite vinegar

4roma tomatoes - diced
How To Make lori's famous macaroni salad

1Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add macaroni, and cook until tender. Rinse under cold water and drain.

2In a large bowl, stir together the onion, cucumber and tomatoes. Mix in the mayonnaise, condensed milk, sugar and vinegar. Add the macaroni, toss gently, cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. We usually make this a day ahead of time. Stir occasionally. The macaroni will absorb some of the liquid.
