I've had a salad simular to this many times at Brines Market and Deli...sooo yummy!

Ingredients For pasta taco salad

1 lbrotini pasta
-
1 lbground beef (shredded chicken or ground works as well)

1 pkgtaco seasoning mix
-
2/3 cwater
-
2 ctomatoes, diced (i like to use halved grape tomatoes)

1 conion, diced
-
2 ccheddar cheese (its great with fiesta blend shredded cheese too)
-
1 - 15.5 ozcan black beans or kidney beans, drained and rinsed
-
1 cwestern salad dressing (tastes great with the lite)

1 cmayonnaise
How To Make pasta taco salad

1Pasta: prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Rinse with cold water; set aside.

2Beef: In a large skillet, brown beef, drain excess grease. Stir in taco seasoning and water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until liquid has absorbed. Set aside until meat is cooled.

3Salad: Toss together cooled meat, pasta, tomatoes, onion, cheese and beans. Mix dressing and mayo together and stir into pasta mixture. Enjoy!
