Ingredients For ashley's pasta salad

  • bow tie pasta – 1 box
  • sundried tomatoes (packed in oil with herbs) – 1 jar
  • fresh basil - no specific amount (i just add as much as i want)
  • mozzarella cheese – small block – not grated
  • parmesan cheese – 1/2 bag of grated cheese
  • pitted kalamata olives – 1/2 jar drained (less if you prefer)
  • grape tomatoes – 1 container
  • chopped garlic – i usually use the jar of garlic & add about a tablespoon

How To Make ashley's pasta salad

    Cook the pasta per the instructions on the box After draining the pasta I usually leave it in the colander & pour most of the oil from the sundried tomatoes on it to keep it from sticking together In no particular order: Chop the basil Cube mozzarella Chop the olives Quarter the tomatoes Add the parmesan cheese Add the sundried tomatoes Add chopped garlic Salt & Pepper After the pasta has cooled, add it to the rest of the ingredients & mix
